PRESS: EBRD sells 9% in Russia’s TransContainer to Blagosostoyanie

MOSCOW, Apr 12 (PRIME) -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has sold its entire 9.24% stake in Russian container shipping company TransContainer to non-government pension fund Blagosostoyanie for 2.75 billion rubles, Kommersant business daily reported Tuesday citing sources.

A spokesperson for the EBRD confirmed the sale of the stake, but did not name the buyer. A spokesperson for Blagosostoyanie confirmed buying the stake from the EBRD.

Following the deal, Blagosostoyanie raised its stake in TransContainer to over 20%.
